Hello My Name Is...
Crystal Richardson
My name is Crystal Richardson and I am married to Todd Richardson who teaches next door at Hunter Middle School. We have two children Cade and Neely. They are a joy and we love them with all of our hearts. They are active in many sports/activities such as baseball/softball, football, volleyball, choir, and AWANAS. As a family, we enjoy vacations to the beach and trips to Disney World.
I received my bachelor's degree from Tennessee Technological University and I earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
My first teaching position was at Arnold Memorial Elementary School in Cleveland, Tennessee. In 2001, I joined the Wallace A. Smith family and it is an honor and privilege to be a part of this amazing school. I have taught 3rd grade for two years and the remainder of my teaching experience is in fourth grade. I was also selected to be in the Leadership Fellows program and learned a great deal about best practices to use in the classroom and how to be a leader within and outside of the school. I have served as Spelling Bee Coordinator, on the KEYS Leadership Team, Curriculum Mapping Leadership Team, Literacy (3-5) Representative for WAS, and Leaders for Life Committee.
I am very excited about the learning opportunities that will take place this year in 4th grade.
